Outdoor Boudoir Photoshoots

The setting sun adds and amazing glow and ambiance to outdoor photoshoots. Boudoir photography really lends itself to this kind of magic! I have a beautiful photo shoot location I love to use in Guelph. Picture a private wide open meadow surrounded by pine and birch trees blurred out in the background. Tall grass, wild flowers, goldenrod, so many changes this meadow goes through during the spring, summer and autumn, always something new to discover. It's always a little tricky trying to discover a photo shoot location that is both aesthetically pleasing and private and also really easy and quick to get to! No easy feat to get the whole trifecta working in your favour! I remember my husband riding his bike around to all of our favourite spots trying to scout out the perfect place for my outdoor boudoir golden hour sessions. Then we found it! All of the photos in this blog post our from this little gem of a spot.

Outfit selection for golden hour boudoir photoshoots is totally optional...why not go buff! If that's a little too out there for your comfort level, blankets, throws and sheer fabrics work wonders for the mood. If you'd like to wear lingerie, going for neutral colours really works well to vibe with the natural atmosphere. But I leave this totally up to you!
